Agree. I think I outgrew that whole UFO thing when I realized that even if a civilization could figure out how to travel at the speed of light, and wanted to travel across the Milky Way Galaxy, it would take almost a half a BILLION years.
As always, Mr. Always Wrong is wrong again.
Try 200,000 years next time.
when your typical audience is seated on barstools, complete accuracy isn't required as long as you are adequately exaggerating.
It's the Cliff Clavin effect.
Back when I was a bartender you always had three books available to pretty much answer a lot of questions with some degree of accuracy when the inebriated regulars would wax poetic about the length of a sperm whales dick. We called them the bar books...Guiness Book of World Records, Framers Almanac and the Book of Lists.
I would think that if they start discussing whale dicks it is the time to cut them off.
You don't cut off women when they talk about dick...

Well no. But you didn't elaborate.

Bar books are no longer needed in the era of smart phones.

For true crime buffs....
More of a podcast, so you can just listen to it. Most in depth discussion of the Black Dahlia I have ever seen/heard. There are like 20 episodes.
Here is first..

Ooooh I'm saving this! I enjoy that story. Well I mean as much as one can enjoy a story about a woman getting completely dismantled.
Oooooh I'm saving this too. I took a lot of video while in Ireland like this, or I would just sit my camera up in a place and record just the little towns going about their business, people just living their lives I loved it!
Not bad...she handled it pretty well. I didnt really mind her interpretation.
Not an easy challenge. It was kind of cool that she had the Peart drumsticks.
As someone with zero musical ability who is also a huge Rush fan, I am in awe of what she was able to do. Also, I think Neil would have really enjoyed watching this and seeing the process and her interpretation.
