Areas that got the virus first, too bad red states didn't learn from their sacrifice.

Are you going to use 5 years as the cutoff for Covid for complications? Like cancer?FSchmertz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 11:34 pm One of the things not brought up in these discussions are the folks that may have permanent health effects after "recovery."
Likely that's far more people than were killed by it. Sorta like military "casualties" inclusive of the wounded, where usually there's orders of magnitude more wounded than killed.
P.S. I've read that medical folks think some of the "recovered" are going to need organ replacements in the future. Severely damaged lungs and kidneys and brain issues.

Various statisticians will be fooling around with reporting long-term effects of this forever, probably.Antknot wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 4:21 pmAre you going to use 5 years as the cutoff for Covid for complications? And the results will probably vary with the biases of the "figure-ers," as usual.

P.S. But whatever, the actual (health) damage done really can't be totally based on deaths and/or recovery. This sucker is going to cost us long-term. I'm thinking sorta like folks who were smokers are now. Minus the responsibility for unhealthy behavior i.e. getting sick was probably not their fault.

if its 5-8% on one category, then why is it 2-4.9% on the next?
Shouldn't it be 5-7.9% and then 2-4.9% or 5-8% and 2-5%? fucking democrats.
and, since he's only the governor of 1 state, why not go ahead and do the math (per 100,000) since it only applies to this one state. Jesus, you fucking democrats are stupid.

Some on that feed did the math and said that if you tested the low amount that SD county is doing daily, that the false positives alone would never fall below the minimal. Shut it all down. Re: Wuhan Coronavirus
That is a fucking insane plan. The population of California is about 39.5 million. If you take that to "per 100,000" that is 395.Biker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 9:50 pmSome on that feed did the math and said that if you tested the low amount that SD county is doing daily, that the false positives alone would never fall below the minimal. Now, the worst category that he has is to shut everything down, meaning the daily new cases have to be below 7 x 395 = 2,765. California has been below that number since back in May. That is economic suicide.
