You're being deliberately obtuse, removing automobiles from society would require major reordering and infrastructure changes. You can stop unnecessary deaths without doing that with things like airbags and seatbelts, and this has in fact been done.Biker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:17 pmWalk, bicycles, maybe all public transport. Get on board, Capt wants to preserve all life, even if it means shutting down all relevant life activities.

The scientist at the beginning said we needed to lockdown for 6 weeks just so we wont overwhelm the hospitals. Then it became we need to continue the measure to end all deaths. Then it became we need the protocals to prevent all cases. The latest from 'science' is that we are going to have to continue measures even after we have a vaccine.AnalHamster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:34 pmA viral pandemic? Who said 6 weeks? Who said we need to end all deaths and prevent all cases? When has any viral pandemic ever in the entire history of the world not been temporary? There's zero evidence for your claim, whereas my claim that no viral pandemic is permanent is simple fact isn't it? You've really gone nuts on this one.Biker wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:38 pmThe scientist at the beginning said we needed to lockdown for 6 weeks just so we wont overwhelm the hospitals. If I have to explain then youre not paying attention. At least thats what is happening here. I just finished catching up on round 2 of Ligue 1 and love that they have fans in the stands. I imagine that will be the case when the EPL starts again.AnalHamster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 01, 2020 10:43 pmWho said 6 weeks? Who said we need to end all deaths and prevent all cases? You have to explain because you're making bullshit claims. You can't explain because you're making bullshit claims. You cannot back your claims you moron. That's your standard cue to run away, but at least try to think about why you can't.

Couple of folks there had masks on.
Barbers here let one or two in at a time, sitting at least 6 feet apart. The rest sit outside separately. Lot of places do it by appointment, same as before but less people at a time.
And it's kinda like eating, some stuff requires you take off the mask temporarily.
I wouldn't want to go to a hair place in Houston or Atlanta right now. Too much of a hot spot at both places.
