Well, that hammer head/welded one doesn't appear that it would allow the crescent to adjust. However someone made one, they would have to be careful to leave the channel in tact that has the threaded adjustment for the crescent.

That looks difficult to use as a hammer. The face of the head is at an angle where your hand needs to be below the head of the nail (or whatever you're bashing).

I'm not sure there is anybody in this thread that has ever used an adjustable wrench. If you have never had to file or grind out the hole for the channel the jaw slides in after using the back side of the wrench for a hammer you are not doing it right.

It looks ok to use. There is a good probability you are not going to be using it on a broad flat surface. And I bet that is a 3/4 hex on the end.
