When I first started working out of college, an older guy came back to the office a month after I started. He had been helping a co-worker trim a tree and had fallen out of the tree and apparently tried to break his fall with his hand. Well, turns out he destroyed his wrist. He had a similar contraption screwed into his arm bones and hand bones. I sort of think it was a compound fracture and he ended up with a bit of infection. Never quite healed right. He was always doing exercises to try and get some flexibility and range of motion back but there was just a ton of scar tissue which hindered that.

I know,strange link. This place is about an hour away from me. They filmed alot of a cheap movie there called the demon lover. I have read some online comments and people say it was once owned by ted nugent but that isn't true. There are out takes from demon lover that show ted with the director/producer of the film and it looks like thy're in the castle and ted is talking guns and ammunition,presumably for use in the movie "using guns and ammo in the movie,not ted) so maybe that's where people got the idea he owned it. Ted did own a big place near me in Lawrence,Michigan a long time ago but I've never heard anybody ever say if he was ever there or not. I don't know if that castle is still for sale,I ran across this link years ago. Has alot of very nice photos. I actually think it's a pretty good deal,but I know nothing about real estate.
