Yes the bends only occur if you have breathed air under pressure and then been subjected to a lower pressure faster than your body can get rid of the dissolved gasses.

Bends happen when breathing compressed air.
Holding your breath doesn't have that effect.
The sinking had me wondering that as well.
When you dive you prefer to be at at steady/constant state of floatation.
Neither negative nor positive as it requires more work to maintain either of those states.
I'm somewhat doxing myself,but what the hell. The Righteous Brothers were supposed to play my hometown but when one of the guys didn't show up for the show they found him dead in his hotel room from cocaine intoxication,so the show was canceled.

i never understood the coke thing. coke is a brand not an encompassing product. if you ordered an orange coke out here you would look like an idiot. in texas i think they would serve you a sunkist or a fanta orange.
