Certain investment options spiked hours, or minutes before he made his announcement. Not to mention posting on truth social "this is a great time to buy - djt" about 3 hours before he announced the tariff pause. All that being said absolutely NOTHING will come of this. Obese, unfit for any political office, despicable sex pest, small handed beefy boy donny, will not face any consequences anything, even if there were videos' of him in a room telling people to buy or sell because he was about to crash the market, or send it skyrocketing. The most truthful thing he ever said is he could shoot people on 5th avenue, and not lose a vote. The GIC I bought is 3.75%. I don't know what the fuck attempted point, or insult you are trying to make. The percentage is what it is. I am not trying to flex to impress fucking Pet Sematary UJ. I think most people, who paid any attention to what 6 time bankrupt morally reprehensible geriatric beefy boy Donny said he was going to do, would have expected volatility. I expected over time the market could drop 10% and I would be better off making 3.75% rather than losing 10%. The market dropped like a brick after fuck head announced his totally unnecessary tariffs. Then it shot up like a rocket after he told his truth social followers 3 hours prior that "now is a great time to buy - djt", and paused some tariffs. I think insider information, and market manipulation are clearly at work here. That is probably just me. But, as Flumper pointed out, I do have some amazing ability to foresee things.

For the record, Flumper had me questioning the return on the GIC, so I am currently looking at it, it is a CIBC Bonus Rate TFSA GIC 3.75%, maturity date December 13 2025.
