those big lever action rebar cutters are only about $200 at a good tool supply. I've got a few of them. They aren't as good as a quickie saw, but if you are limited to manpower, they do the job.

True, but this guy's whole point to his channel is restoration of old stuff, and stuff so rusty or broken down that it takes some craft to put back together in (almost) original form. Sort of like restoring an old Model T Ford or '57 Chevy muscle car.

i think the "whole point" is that you can make so much $$ off of well put together youtube videos that you can afford to invest the time, effort, and resources that this guy did to restore a $200 tool.
