that video doesn't look very accurate to me. the angle of those bullets passing would place the shooter much more in front of the podium rather than to the side (like he actually was). I was more surprised that the kid even had a shot that wasn't blocked by the bleachers or the video screen, but i guess the podium was slightly in front. Obviously not much in front if the guy killed was in those bleachers between the shooter and Trump.

So, this is strange. The shooter's father called police and reported that his son was missing, along with an AR rifle that was missing from his house. The dad called police not very long after Trump was shot.

Now, what kind of father calls police to report their 20 year old son missing on a Saturday afternoon?

well, i read today that the parents made that phone call at 11 pm. they said their son left the house to go to the gun range at 1 pm and wasn't home and they hadn't heard from him and they were worried.

now, my parents would have never been worried about where i was at 11 pm on a saturday night. even when i was 16 years old.
