think how much money is withheld every single week out of every payroll in the entire united states that HAS to be invested into the market. Pre-arranged and programed purchase of indexed mutual funds, etc in 401k's, roths, company savings plans, etc.

There is a HUGE built in buyer every day on wall street whether they think the economy is good or bad. This isn't the old days when buyers were bullish and sellers were bearish.

as an example. watch the next time that a company is added to the DJIA or S&P. The stock in that company will go up incredibly due to the sudden "forced" buying from every indexed fund that has to own a weighted average of the stocks in those indexes. They aren't buying that company because of any fundamentals or economic reasons. they have to buy it.

I'm picking up what you're laying down but automatic payroll retirement contributions to the market have been happening for decades and corrections and pitfalls still happen. I feel like another correction is on the way.
