I wonder how long Tesla remains a "car" company. I see them as Amazon like in that they will diversify and become a data company more than anything else. I believe they are looking to get into robotics heavily as well. I like them much more for the long term rather than the next 6-24 months.
It would seem logical that Musk would be much more incentivized to move anything new and profitable into SpaceX instead of Tesla. Musk denies any plans to take SpaceX, including Starlink, public any time soon.

Warren Buffet is buying BYDDF shares. BYD is the car manufacturer out of China. It trades OTC at around $25 per share. He doesn't own any Tesla.pork wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 4:13 pmi think we buy at 150 and it bounces up to 200 in the next couple of monthsAnimal wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2024 5:20 pmshit, the news just keeps getting worse. well, they spent the week-end slashing prices on an inventory that they can't sell. I think they have one model at the lowest price in their history. there is absolutely no good news coming out of Tesla lately. I hear their earnings are going to show a decline for the first time in several years.

well congrats on your purchase. I would still not be sold. Their earnings are out and they are even worse than the bad estimates predicted. The only thing lifting the stock is Musk's promise to produce some cheap version of their car that won't even go into production until the middle of 2025. I'm not convinced.
I didn’t buy any. Yet. It will comeback to earth in a few daysAnimal wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 10:15 pmwell congrats on your purchase. I would still not be sold. you may have called it. Tesla might be the classic example of "over sold". it has already built in all of the worst news there is. its probably time to take a chance on it.pork wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 3:47 amI didn’t buy any. I have a couple of mutual funds that have a pretty solid stake in Tesla but even still I think I might take a modest flyer on them.Animal wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 12:32 amyou may have called it. Ok thanks. Seems like it's going to have to collapse like 90% over the remainder of the year just so he gets down to us mortals.Animal wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 9:20 pmhe's been nursing that stock for 3 years now. it could drop back.
