From what I've read, several families still living there that are direct descendants from the English crew and the Polynesian women they had on board. Even know where they burned the Bounty. Haven't heard of any search in that bay to see if they could find anything left.

One thing I always found interesting about the Bounty story was about Capt. Bligh. When he was a very young seaman, he was on the crew with Cook on his 3rd and last voyage. Actually in the party that went ashore with him when he was killed in Hawaii. He was the one that retrieved his official Navy sword from the body and returned it to his widow in England. What I read anyway.

Lieutenant Bligh, and we had this discussion before. There is no provence for the sword story.

Tony says in the comments this is the first narrated video he has produced and he has more. I guess he is editing them and will release them in the future. You should make a youtube account and subscribe to his channel and you will be notified when he releases another video.
