if that is true, and i have no doubt your version is right, then guys like Tucker Carlson should be forced to spend the time to correct their mistake and suffer a bit of public humiliation. I watched that video he posted and was blown away, having no idea it was completely out of context. I should have known, since it was so freaking bizarre.

Well that's the problem right there. He won't issue a correction and the vast majority of his viewers won't ever see the simple explanation you immediately accepted because it's really kinda obvious when pointed out. Not really a high percentage case since tucker can just claim he believed the sarcastic statement was true and he is a moron.
