‘Chevy vs. Ford' argument led to shootings...
BEDFORD, Va. - A Virginia man was arrested after shooting three others during a Chevrolet vs. Ford argument, police said.
Mark Edwin Turner, 56, was arrested around 2 a.m. April 23 after standoff that lasted more than two hours, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. April 22 at a Bedford home. When they arrived, they found three people outside the home with gunshot wounds, the statement said. The victims were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Turner, his girlfriend, her son and her son's girlfriend had been having dinner at their home, Bedford County Commonwealth's Attorney Wes Nance told WSET-TV.
The four were in the front yard when Turner and his girlfriend’s son began arguing about whether Chevy or Ford is a better car manufacturer, Nance said. The argument became heated and Turner allegedly pulled a knife. Turner’s girlfriend tried to get between Turner and her son, and Turner stabbed her in her lower back, Nance said.
Turner then went into the home and retrieved a gun, Nance said.
"It's then alleged that Mr. Turner came back out and approached (his girlfriend’s son). Once again, his mother tried to intervene between the two of them. During that time, she was shot a total of five times -- all of those injuries occurring to her legs," Nance said.
The woman’s son was shot in the arm, and the son’s girlfriend was hit by two bullets that Nance said ricocheted.
When police arrived, Nance said Turner returned inside the home, but continued to come back outside to yell at officers. Police were eventually able to hit Turner with a bean bag and take him into custody, Nance said.
Turner was charged with felony malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was denied bond.
All I really want to know is who was arguing for the Chevy and who was arguing for Ford.

Clearly the drunk guy is a dick...but the chick pushed him. Poor bastard in the hat took the most of it. I hope he at least got a nice BJ with her fat lip that night.

She only pushed him away in response to his purposely leaning into her. The dickhead is even looking back as hes doing it. He knew what he was doing and was looking for a reaction.
