The trick to a good 501c3 is to look at the percentage of the $$ collected that goes directly toward the charity and not toward the "overhead" of the charity. I think the Shrine hospitals run around 92% or maybe higher than that. Which is about at the top of the list. Meaning that for every $1 donated, 92 cents goes toward the hospitals.

I wonder what that number is for BLM? I tried to do a search but it couldn't be found.
