That reminded me of some videos that I watched about electrical arc flash hazards working around my 2400v equipment. The guy in this video is racking in what I think is an air gap breaker and he took zero safety measures. I have a few of these that I service every year, scares the absolute shit out of me every time.

Shit, I have worked 460 volt 3 phase many times.
2400 volts tells me you have bigger balls than me.

My wife has been a nurse for 25 years now and she once pointed at them and said "Uhm, those are really big." Damn things are always in the way.
And I work on 480v equipment also, it's considered our "small units". With the 2400v stuff I have the added bonus of it being associated with switchgear and motors that are from the mid 70's, as if that shit isn't sketchy enough already. At least with the 480v stuff you have to make some kind of contact with it for the nasty to happed, the 2400v will reach out and grab you.
I also work around transformer sub stations at the plants with the exposed high side voltage being 12,470v. I had a stray cat get into that this last winter, damn near liquified the poor thing.

Holy shit, after reading your reply, I'm glad I decided to retire in a few weeks.
Congrats brother, but it seems like you have been retiring for a decade.
Thank you, I'm really doing it this time.
I have turned over the corporate books and moved all the company $ to an account that the 2 guys have control of.

Going to travel around with the wife and get some diving in?

That is somewhat the plan.
She unexpectedly had to have spinal surgery, so that has thrown a little wrench in the previous plans.

Oh my, best of luck on that front. Hopefully she will have the back of a young girl again.

If you drive up here, the doors open.
If life were fair every guy's dick would be the same size.
