1-2 days before Super Tuesday and Pete and Amy drop out after a year of effort, fund raising? That just doesn't happen ever. Oh, right. I forgot 2016. Another DNC middle finger to the Democratic voters that their votes don't matter. DNC controls who is nominated. I remember a year ago relishing watching this "Clown Car with the big squeeze horn on the front". It has lived up to the hype. After years of telling us the Democratic party is the one of "Diversity, gender promotion, blah blah" it's 2 old white guys. Comedy Gold

Must be Miller Lite Monday, WTC is ultra retarded today. I'm writing down his stock tips as we speak.

DNC should control who the nominee is, or at least make sure it’s a Democrat
It has been a fun "Clown Car" year, just as expected.

Actually I think McGovern 72 and Mondale 84 is funny and amusing. It has a familiar feel. Oh, and I forgot Dukakis in 88.

This is why you may want to leave /pol/. I'm talking Dem candidates in history that got so crushed, I think all 3 barely won their home states. This election cycle is like that on steroids. Prepare yourself.

Do you think Republican candidates don't get "crushed" or you just don't wanna talk about them?

Actually going back to the FDR years 1932-1944 elections, past that no Republican has ever been non-competitive. Dems have been in 72, 84 and 88. Chalk up 2020 onto that list. Enjoy Trump for 4 and maybe Pence for 8 until your Party gets their shit together. Or not- we hope not.

We were sure Alfred M Landon in 1936 was a sure winner.Turns out he had the personality of a dead fish. Reminds me of someone on this thread from the NE. Can't remember the name.

Imagine the debates between Trump and Biden. It will comedy gold! Throw stuff like that from Biden along side the meaningless word salads of Trump and it will be a odd day for the English language.

I think to drain off some fence sitting Republicans Klobucher would be somebody they could feel good about. Kerry and Clinton have so much baggage for them to swallow.

Maybe

Im just happy that youre finally accepting Biden as the inevitable nominee after months of Warren/Bernie fantasies. Now we need to get the far left radicals comfy with Joe and get them to the polls.
I won't lie. I will be gut punched a progressive didn't make it. It just guarantees more of the same old same old......but I see the writing on the wall. The whole Democratic establishment and the media are doing everything they can to kick the legs out from under Bernie. Trump has got to go though.
I blame Biker.

I can't imagine Bernie quitting until the convention. That debate on March 15th is going to be must watch TV. Biden has essentially been given a pass in the debates thus far. Imagine what that stage is going to look like if it's Biden, Bloomberg and Bernie. Might want to have an ambulance standing by just in case one of them breaks a hip.

He wont, she's too anti-Israel
I know he won't. But that's the only way I would vote for Biden as it stands.

Bernie is just as willing to bash Israel as Tulsi has been and has made it very clear he dislikes Bibi which is what Tulsi goes after.

He won't pick her because she's a negative for probably 85% of all Democrats.

Bernie sort of made it pretty obvious his VP would be someone he wants to replace him because so few will see him as living for 4 years and he (and Biden) have sort of ruled out running again. I'd predict he chooses Nina Turner who has been his primary campaign talking head on TV shows.

Yeah, she would be so long as she doesn't open her mouth. Something about her annoys the piss out of me

I'd prefer to have Hillary or John Kerry as VP
Then you really don’t want Biden to win.
