The rules are posted over in the 1st Annual thread.... but here they are again.hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:13 pm Is there a rules thread we should sticky?
Pick 5 each week, correct?
Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:10 pm Okay guys, here's what we'll do.
We'll follow the same format as the football pool back in the old UJ.
- It will be a spread pool.
- Each week we will pick 5 games against the spread.
- Wins, losses and pushes will be tallied. In the event of a tie at the end of the pool, pushes will be used as the tiebreaker.
- Every Tuesday I will post the spreads to be used for that week.
- Every Tuesday I will post an update of the pool standings.
- If you wish to pick a Thursday game you don't need to make your other picks at the same time. You can edit those in later. Don't worry, I'll be paying attention.
- The pool will run all the way to the Super Bowl.
- Obviously, we won't be able to pick 5 games each week during the playoffs, so we will pick every playoff game.
- The winner of the pool will receive this magnificent, fully engraved trophy that you can use to impress your friends and pick up hot MILFs!

Towing the low lines. Smart play in week 1.
Have you been looking at my picks?hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 5:59 pm Hawk's upset specials are Pittsburg, Green Bay and NY Giants. Not that I would bet those, but those are all likely upsets
Of course, and you need to straighten up your desktop.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 6:02 pmHave you been looking at my picks?hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 5:59 pm Hawk's upset specials are Pittsburg, Green Bay and NY Giants. I credit all of my selections to me not knowing what I'm doing.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 11:01 pmI was wondering when someone was going to pick Arizona.
Personally, I think you know what you're doing. (as far as the Arizona pick, that is)
I've heard that one before, and it's a valid point.Biker wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 2:39 pmI listen to quite a bit of sports talk radio during the day and one caller said that he bets all the unders on each game for week 1, precisely because the offenses are not yet in sync due to inactivity in the preseasonReservoir Dog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 06, 2019 1:36 pm This is precisely why you don't sit your starting Quarterback for the entire pre-season. (rookie head coach mistake)
Aaron Rodgers came out rusty and had to be saved by the defense.
Anyone is free to edit their picks all they want up until the games start. Once the games start your picks are locked in. I will be recording everyones picks after the 1:00 games start and then checking them again after the 4:00 games start to log everyone's final picks.
I think I'll wait to start making picks until week 3 (check out the off season trends) like I've done every year for the past 6 years. Will that mess with your limited math comprehension skills?Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:24 pmThe rules are posted over in the 1st Annual thread.... but here they are again.hawkfan8812 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:13 pm Is there a rules thread we should sticky?
