SMurph. Admitted years ago he lived in a mobile home. Suffered years of abuse about his "House on wheels" or " Easy connection to a vehicle" etc. I believe Stapes was really vocal in the mocking. And it turns out, Stapes now lives in a Mobile Home and is now open for your open ridicule. Make me proud, UJR
Smurf was likeable and funny. Two things you're not.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure when most UJR's see a "kwebber post", warm, fuzzy feelings in the pit of the stomach and thoughts of prancing unicorns and dancing rabbits is as far from the reality as you can get. More like, "what is the A-Hole screeching about now"?

Nothing wrong with mobile homes. Theyre good housing options for people

Agree. Hell, the manufactured homes I've seen the last 20 years have been damn impressive. My point is a lot of people ragged on SMurph for 10 years. And not a pepe for stapes. He seems a prime target. Thus this thread.

Actually the new Manufactured homes built to standards with massive tie downs are as solidly built as any frame house on a solid foundation. Neither is going to survive a substantial tornado or hurricane, though for the most part.

 And what's this "truce " you mentioned last night? I've never had anything but respect for you as a quality poster. Oh, and you need to tamp down the "Medium esteem" to like "kinda sorta not sure maybe" respected.

I have a concrete block ranch that survived a direct hit from hurricane Charlie (Cat 4, 2004, Florida) and came out unscathed. The local trailer parks didn't do as well. They must have been older construction so I'm glad to hear that the newer building codes with "massive tie downs" as you state are holding up better.

Hopefully Stapes has the newer construction you speak of.

He was going to move to a motel up the coast during Dorian because I believe his words were something like " The roof isn't made of tin". SMurph would have a tear in the corner of eyes at those sentiments.

Arrested Development would be a good name for a safe space on the board.

It would get a fair amount of traffic.........

And here I thought "Arrested Development " was the name of the biography detailing RD's life.

Don't confuse him anymore than he already is.
