The UCLA / Washington State game yesterday had 14 TD's in it.
Anthony Gordon had 9 of them... and lost!
Wow!

Down by 31 with 4 minutes left in the third quarter, UCLA scored 29 points in 5 minutes and 50 in 19 minutes?

Damn, that would have been a game to watch.

Mike Leach can build Top 20 teams at smaller colleges like Washington State and before that at Texas Tech. His offensive strategies are brilliant but they suffer the same fatal flaw. His offensives move so fast, score so fast that his defenses are on the field 75% of the time. Totally worn down at the end of the game. Thus this result.

Do you think perhaps that maybe BOTH defenses sucked in that one?

Watched Leach games at TT for years. Hate games like that. He's amazing on building football programs on offense, but the style will never get a whiff of elite status. You have to be solid on both sides. His never is.
