My wife and her best friend are HUGE Foo Fighter fans, but I am not impressed at all. Can anyone explain to me the love for the Foos, it has to be their looks, because their musical chops are average at best. And the song writing is about the same.

I actually think their songwriting is there strong suit. They write catchy pop tune style rock that can get Oasis fans banging their heads with led zepplin fans around a mosh pit of Green Day fans. They sound like a band that Gene would discover. Music was OK. I am not a glam /
metal guy by any means but it was serviceable.
