I'm 50 years old. I can see myself still doing some tax work in my late sixties. One, to have something to do, and also to help fund things for those I find deserving in my family.

You think the average person watching their retirement (401k) get wiped out is a millionaire? You really are the dumbest person in this forum.
you have to remember, his retirement fund is in trash bags of aluminum cans in his garage.
Close social security and pay check, I let you richers fuck with stocks
That must be brutal. I can't imagine having to work at 69.

i was looking at the similarities of Biden's runaway inflation and Carter's back in the early 80's. In order for the FED to stop the inflation, they ended up raising rates to where the 30 year Notes were paying 16% interest before they finally reversed it.

Right now 30 year notes are paying under 4% interest.

I’ll admit every republican that that takes over from a democratic president other than Carter/ Reagan, manages to leave the economy in its current shape.

Recent history, w left the country in shambles, O’Bama rebuilt the country. Trump left the country in shambles and Biden has a small window to put the House back in order.

Prove me wrong

Just a bit of perspective, not because I am supporting the current administration, but to keep myself calm during a turbulent time.

"U.S. household net worth is $80 trillion higher today than it was ten years ago, which is astounding. But it’s about $700 billion lower than it was three months ago, which is honestly nothing. Yet one of those figures creates ten times the headlines, ten times the attention, ten times the emotions, ten times the introspection. It has nothing to do with the level of wealth and everything to do with the trajectory."

I would love to know where these numbers were pulled from...

Adding 80 trillion dollars to ~125 million households over the course of 10 years means the average household 'net worth' raised ~$640,000.

Highly unlikely.

80 trillion / 125 million is the same as 80,000/125 which is 640. So, over 10 years, each household income grew around $640.

Highly likely.

Its a lot of zeroes, even people who are good with numbers can miss a place.

But...
80,000,000,000,000
.........
125,000,000

80,000,000
125

= 640,000

Calling non-profits households is ridiculous...

But now it makes sense why that number is so high.

Cut them out and Animal's $640 is probably spot on.
