I make/can a Maple/Rum BBQ sauce.

One of my friends comes into the Legion regularly with the hockey boys he plays with. I give him sauce regularly. Dropped off a jar to him 2 weeks ago and the hockey boys were like "how come you get BBQ sauce?"

One of his fellow players, after being told how good it is, said he would give me $20 for a pint. He's halfway through it and now wants 2 more jars.

Looks like I'll have a brisk business coming up.

Is it wrong that I chuckled at "I give him sauce regularly"?

Not the country but more so in my area. Lots of hunters and BBQers in this neck of the woods.

Henry Ford once said that a Ford customer could have a Model T painted any color as long as it was black.
In that vein Canadian cuisine has a wide variety of flavors as long as it's maple.

Farmers Market here is really picky and any food is suppose to be prepared in a commercial kitchen. I have access to a commercial kitchen and may give it a go.

Tomato sauce/paste. It rocks on anything really. The only sugar is maple syrup so it works well as a marinade also with no burning.
