The rams and niners did not even win their division last year, how could they be top 6 in the NFL? The Rams may only be 6 in the NFC
The Rams upgraded nicely at QB
You dont think Stafford is better than Goff?
I think Stafford has been overrated his entire carrier.
Its early but still sticking with this?

niners cost me a bunch yesterday. i had 4 different parlays tied to them and they let me down. it was a bad day and they need to keep the kid in and get garapalo out of there.

I will. I’ve always felt Stafford is a poor man’s Brett Farve. He’s doing fine right now but the costly picks will come

Yup. Classic Joe Flacco syndome. The team around him is making him look better than he actually is.
That said, Sean McVay is a fucking football genius and is playing straight into Stafford's strengths and avoiding his weaknesses.
Also, keep in mind that the Ram's first two wins were against the Bears and the Colts. Hardly top tier teams. And they only beat the Colts by 3.
If he handles the Cardinals and Seahawks in their next two games perhaps I may start to be convinced.

What's amazing to me. McVay (HC) is only 3 years older than Stafford.

2 years, actually.

Well... his stat line didn't completely suck.

How fitting that a poor Goff decision costs the Lions the game against Stafford and the Rams.

Its not for you. Its for RD and spudoc who ridiculously thought Goff was as good as Stafford.
Yeah show me where I said that. Stafford’s true colors will show
OK. His team is 6-1 and they've scored the 3rd most points in the NFC. At what point do you admit the guy might be pretty decent?
Career wise he has great stats. He just not a winner. In all of his years with the Lions he never won a division title. Many years that division was up for grabs. The excuse makers always say he never had a team around him but in 2014 he had the #2 rated defense in the NFL and the best he could do with that was a wild card berth. Which he lost. To Tony fucking Romo! He’s like his boyhood friend Kershaw. Great until it matters

All of these statements are generally true. They do not take into consideration however the overall general historic ineptitude of the Lions organization as a whole. Did you forget the circumstances of that Dallas game? Refs call a huge penalty on Dallas and then inexplicably a loooong time later pick it up. If that call stands Detroit most likely wins.

I'm not a Stafford apologist. He came up small an many occasions when the great ones usually shine and I freely admit he more than earned his nickname Stat Padford while spending most of his time playing from behind against soft prevent defenses. Hes not worthy of the love fest the national media is currently giving him but hes also better than the haters think. If the great QB's are an "A" he's a solid "B".
