The Dallas Mavericks seem to be in a tailspin

First they lose Donny Nelson, the GM forever. Then, the next day they lose Rick Carslisle, the coach. Both of them close mentors of Luca Donich, who will be a free agent if he doesn't sign a 5 year deal this summer.

The only rumor going around is that their front office is so fucked up with fighting that these guys saw leaving as their only options. When the story first broke about Donny Nelson leaving, they said it was because of some new "internet guru" guy that Cuban had hired to do analysis on players and stuff. Evidently its some kind of position that is hot to fill right now with guys that run sophisticated algorithms to analyze things that the old timers did by instincts. But now that Carslise is leaving, they are back to saying its all about "infighting" in the front office. I have not heard one mention of the sexual harassment or domestic abuse claims from a year or two ago.

Stories out of Dallas are saying that Carlisle and Doncic weren't getting along.
