Fireworks for the 4th?

May have to re-think that depending on your local situation. I had heard that there was some supply issues due to post-Covid and other problems. Me- I'm not huge on fireworks. I'll usually go buy $50-100 to shoot for a few hours over a couple of nights. The stands around here opened late last week and decided today to go buy some to beat the rush. Visited 2 and walked away from both. Both wanted near $50 for a 12 pack of simple artillery shells. Eye-balling everything else, every thing was off the charts. I'm not paying that crap. I'll wait until 6PM on Sunday when they are trying to unload product. Hope you have better luck. It's just fireworks.

Home use fireworks have been banned in my location for several years now, the fire risk is just to great. But, every year some dumbass goes to the reservation and buys a big package of them from Chief Squatting Bull, throws back a 12 pack of Bud light and sets half the County on fire.

They may be dumbasses but I guarantee they are a lot cooler than the morons starting fires at "gender-reveal" parties.

Meh. I used to spend the cash. Now I prefer to watch my neighbors set thousands of dollars on fire.

No shortage of fireworks here, hearing mortars every night since May. All fireworks are legal here but PA residence pay an additional 10% tax. I stopped spending money on them 6 or 7 years ago.

The legality of fireworks varies here. The unwritten law is that this is a written law that is widely ignored. You cannot buy them in Nashville/Davidson County but every county adjoining Davidson sells them. I used to love shooting them but I am past that now.

I’ve got a couple hundred bottle rockets and some black cats.

I set those off and the po-po would show up at my house in 5 minutes or less.

Last 4th of July it was silent here.

Supposedly Fireworks are illegal in Florida but they sell them pretty openly. You sign some kind of bullshit agriculture waiver that you are going to use it to scare varmints and not light them off in your street....lol sure.

My neighborhood is like V for Vendetta on July 4th. Some people have better set ups than the official city one.

Yeah, I used to be huge on blowing massive cash on fireworks until I realized how useless it was. Now- just want to spend a few $10's per year so I can say I contributed to scaring all the animals for one night. Have to keep them on their toes.

Would you go Noob somewhere else. As usual, you have nothing to contribute to this thread. Or any others as far as I can tell.

This is one thing that I don’t get about you throwing out the noob label. Pretty much everyone on here was at the old UJ a hell of a lot longer than you.

I never said any differently. If you can't see the "3 children" I have to deal with daily, then the problem I'm sorry to say is with you. It's no big deal. Like any children, they get all stirred up, running around making noise until they run out of steam. Then they crash and adults can start talking again. I call CQ out, because the whole thing is way beneath him. He doesn't seem to be listening. So, then the whole shit starts again tomorrow. You know, children.
