My wife is hooked on this crap, so I am forced to be involved.

Do you guys use the same start word, or maybe a couple of words based on the letters in the word?

I ask because my wife and her best friend really do not, they kind of randomly just pick a word each day.

I usually start with a word that has 3 vowels and a couple of common consonants.
Audio, sauce, radio, media, raise, alone... words like that. Try to nail the vowels right away.
