Thats the Ambassador bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor. A YUUUUUUUUUGE portion of American/Canadian trade crosses that bridge. Its happening at the Blue Water bridge too which connects Port Huron to Sarnia. Estimates say its taking 4-5 hours to get accross.

Theres also a tunnel under the Detroit river connecting the two. Havent heard much about if the protest is affecting that though.

That was supposed to happen and then Covid hit. Last I heard they have the necessary land on both sides and its just a matter of getting it started. Who knows when that will be. And the owner of the Ambassador fought it BIG TIME. He knows his virtual monopoly will take a hit.
