Only rule:“you can’t” is not allowed

How would you join two single wides with the same dimensions?

I would probably span them with a metal roof on separate legs so that the roof joint is eliminated as a problem. Then you can pretty much do it however you want.

Butt them together as you would two double wides. Take off both roofs and Make a ridge beam with sheets of 1/2 cdx. Engineer new balsa wood trusses for each side of the new “beam”.

The whole ceiling could be vaulted if you wished.

put siding around the whole thing.. T-111, maybe it will cost $300, then paint it. Then get a rich boyfriend. you are gorgeous.

you can't buy 7 sheets of T-111 for $300. And you would need nearly 10 times that many to go around two single wides side by side. Plus, why waste money on siding when both trailers will already have siding.

if you use my single metal roof above idea. then you would just put them on blocks as close together as possible. where you have pass thru's from one half to the other you just have to frame in the door ways. And then if you have some Den type room that you want to open up a full wall between the two, you can block that foundation up from the ground in between so you can clear span as much as you want and use that to support the missing walls you have to remove.

of course, i am assuming you want to put them side by side. If your plan is to make an L shape, then that changes everything.

Fucking elitists who aren't happy with a single wide. They gotta have a double-wide so they can impress their friends.

Sad.

In a “L” shap in the corner of the lot and put ina outdoor living space. Less linear space to join and the join will be in the corner so it’s less noticeable.
