Did you know that 1 out of every 7 people in Canada live in poverty? 21% of single mothers live in poverty. 1 out of 5 non white people live in poverty, while 1 out of 20 white people in live poverty. 1 out of 7 people in a homeless shelter in Canada are children. 40% of the indigenous children live in poverty.

I had no idea.

What are the 'Merica numbers?
obviously our "indeginous" numbers would be WAY lower, but overall i think we are at 1 out of every 10 people in poverty.
