How far away is your workplace?

From my driveway to work is exactly 13.1 miles

I do field IT work, so it could be a couple of miles, or it could be half-way across the state.

My "office", in the rare times I go there, is 16.2 miles from the house.

400 miles round trip. Almost $5 a gallon. Do the math. I caught a sweet $$ Per Diem this year, though.

I thought I had it bad at 90 miles round-trip (though bad traffic).

Fortunately, I have a company car (though 300k plus on the current car).

Put a lot of additional miles getting to sites also.

Mrs. CHEEZY drives about 65 miles round trip every day. I've told her she needs to tell her boss shes working from home 1 day a week. Shes spending about $600 a month on gas right now.

I don't know how far it is... but it's a 12 minute drive if I catch all green lights.

It's actually not too bad. 200 miles there- 200 miles back. But it's only once week. Once I get there, I get in my company truck for the whole week and my car stays parked until I come home. Plus, once I leave my place here in Kerrville, I drive like 4 miles until I hit I-10. From there (if I wanted), 80 MPH the whole way to my work without one single light, intersection or stop sign the whole way.

Less than 15 minutes. We don't use miles here, it's always about how long it takes.
