Call me crazy (and you probably will)... but I don't think Verlander is even the best pitcher on the cheating Astros.
I think that honor belongs to Framber Valdez.

I like both Harris and Strider for Rookie of the year. Too bad their isn't a separate category for pitchers. I think Chipper Jones would agree.

Why do you give it to Wright over Alcantara? Wins and losses?

I think Alacantara should win it going away. His stats are crazy. 6 complete games, less home runs and ERs than Wright in over 50 more innings. Dude had a great season. Not his fault he plays for a shitty team.

I'm sure Jeremy Pena is heartbroken over his 5th place finish.

Also, holy hell is this a great time for young players!

Brendan Hyde got hosed, but the baseball world loves Francona.

Yep.

I was surprised to see Roberts get as many first place votes as he did. He has the highest payroll in the sport FFS

Buck Showalter has won Manager of the Year with 4 different teams.

Still hasn't won a single postseason series as a Manager.

Justin Verlander...
The best part of this story is that they met randomly on set of a commercial for a video game.
