Trivia Thursday

#1

Post by saltydog »

1. In MLB, winning 10 or more Gold Gloves is impressive.

Can you name the three players who were left handed?

2. Which Hall of Famer hit a HR in his 1st MLB at bat and never hit another one in their career?

3. Which NY Yankee teammates combined for the highest team winning percentage in games where each player hit a HR in the same game?

4. Which NL team has gone the longest in history without finishing in last place?
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?

Not Derek and Bernie.

Cardinals are correct. You'd be shocked as to when it happened.

Pretty sure one of the left-handers was Keith Hernandez

P.S. Cheated, and I didn't consider one position initially. Do switch-hitters count?

Hernandez is correct. Two others.

For the GG question the left handedness is for throwing, not hitting.

I knew Hernandez because I've been a Mets fan since my mom took me to games when I was knee high (I think dad was a Yankees fan though)

As I said, I cheated for the others, though in hindsight it helps to realize what positions lefties play.
