Please. I'm heading out to W Texas in a couple of weeks to start my annual 5-6 month oil field job. Bum Fuck Egypt. Noticed my local library has tons of DVD's I can check out for free. Starting a list of movies to check out and take out there to watch.

Helluva soundtrack and a loaded cast. Ry Cooder does a ton of music. Vintage cars and motorcycles. Railroad spike hammer fight...what more could you ask for.

I read once that they wanted this movie to start a franchise, but they stepped back when Streets underperformed.

Try to put that cast together today and it would probably cost 50 mil...like many movies of the time they didn't do well until they hit HBO or video. Anyone still got their Blockbuster card? Still think there is one left in Alaska last time I heard.
