The Eagle cam, which turns out is Canadian made, will be deployed at a later date to give them a view of the lander from aboot 8m away. So now we have come to the core of CTC's indignation.Reservoir Dog wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 2:44 amThe Tex-ass lawn sprinkler installer thinks he's smarter than the people who put something on the moon.stonedmegman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 24, 2024 2:37 amAt least they made it there. You said it doesn't have a camera.... because.... because.... WEIGHT !!!!CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 11:39 pm
You would think with a company name like Intuitive Machines, they would have thought to put the cameras on a swivel.

So after SpaceX's Dragon 8 docked with the Space Station, there are now 6 space ships docked on ISS. Six spaceships are parked at the space station including the SpaceX Dragon crew spacecraft Endurance and Endeavour, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus space freighter, the Soyuz MS-24 crew ship, and the Progress 86 and 87 resupply ships. And I think there are a total of 11 people there right now.

Holy fuck! Did any of you follow the SpaceX launch today of that monster rocket they have? It was the 3rd test launch and it had a camera strapped to it the whole time. Unbelievable footage. They had re-entry footage of the rocket engine returning after liftoff. All the way until it almost hit the water. Then the main Starship rocket was filming during the plasma re-entry all the way until it finally crapped out or they lost signal.

^ click the "Watch" button. You can move the bar up to the actual launch to cut out listening to the bs. Just go by the T-minus ticker to get to launch.

that damn camera was still filming on re-entry traveling 5 times the speed of sound and with firey plasma boiling all around it. I couldn't believe it. CTC may have to revise his space camera hypothesis.stonedmegman wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 4:18 pmCTC says there was no camera because weight....Animal wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 3:47 pm Holy fuck! Re: Space stuff
NASA has done tons of launches with cameras attached to the boosters- like this one. My comments were in regard to no cameras recording landing, like on the Moon or Mars. Try to keep up Cannuck

Now show me the camera video footage of the main ship in orbit. That's right, there won't be because of the reasons I've already mentioned.

In the span of 2 posts you went from "no cameras recording the landing" to "show me the camera video footage of the main ship in orbit".CentralTexasCrude wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 4:34 pm Now show me the camera video footage of the main ship in orbit.
