That new pitch clock rule is gonna be brutal...

Bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, 3-2 count and the umpire calls strike 3 because the batter was in the box but not looking at the pitcher? The game ends tied. I understand they want faster games but this ending was brutal.

The pitch clock is tough to get used to for sure. I think if the batter is standing in the box, the pitcher should be back on the clock. It shouldn't matter if the batter is set or not. That last pitch could have been thrown before the time expired.

Bryce wasn't a fan of the new rules to begin with...

I like the time clock overall but think it can be fine tuned a little.

I'm glad they got rid of the shift.
