Deion built a school in (the Dallas area) for his sons to excel in sports and for him to bring in kids from around the country and later have dibs on their contracts in the pros. The school was busted as a total sham and somehow Deion got out unscathed.
Now, Deion has two sons on this team that he is building around them.
If this is all legit (his coaching and his recruiting), then he is going to be something to watch. Beating a team (TCU) that was in the 4 team playoff last year and doing it in their home stadium? That's impressive.

Most of the stuff he could be accused of doing is legal now.
NIL's finally get rid of the farce that Division 1 college football (and many other "college" sports) is amateur, and had anything to do with higher education.

Wow! Great win for Duke. Clemson couldn't hold on to the ball.
Jimbo Fisher fired by Texas A&M, to receive record buyout:
The move is expected to cost the school more than $76 million to buy out Fisher's deal, which is nearly triple the highest known coaching contract buyouts at a public school.
At this point, the SEC is a professional football league. Academics have little to nothing to do with the "students" on the teams.

This doesn't make any sense.
Why fire him and still pay him $76 million bucks???
If you have to pay him anyway, why not keep him on staff as an advisor, consultant, or recruiter?

I assume it's all in the contract.

LMFAO. Texas A&M acting like they've ever had a top tier football program. They've finished the season as champions one time in their history- 1939. 2 years before Pearl Harbor

that's almost as funny as when you acted like you went to college at Texas Tech and got an engineering degree.

Texas Tech has never even come close to being top tier in football and knows it. A&M has a huge alumni base in TX Business and Government and acts like they have. See the difference. Just shows $$$ doesn't buy everything. 1939

Found our one A&M fan. As usual, totally delusional. Got so tired of getting their ass kicked by UT every year, in a pity move, they begged the SEC to take them in 10 years ago. Haven't won shit there either. And starting next year, UT and OU will be kicking their ass on a yearly basis.
