LOL...i have one as I'm a glutton for punishment...Heels take the tournament! Would love to see Clemson at least make the final 4 but I think they have to be hot out of the gate to do it.

If and its a big if...NC State comes out of the gate strong vs. Tx Tech I think they can take KY. They decimated the ACC last week and everyone was like WTF.

Remember last year? Like 85% of all brackets got busted on the first day of the tournament.
Any given Sunday, baby!

My bracket would be filled out based on this information:

UConn +425
Houston +500
Purdue +600
North Carolina +1400
Tennessee +1500
Arizona +1600
Auburn +1800
Iowa State +2000
Kentucky +2200
Marquette +2500
Creighton +2500
Illinois +3000
Duke +3000
Baylor +3500
Alabama +4000
Kansas +4000
Wisconsin +6000
Florida +6000
Gonzaga +6000
BYU +6000
Saint Marys +7000
San Diego State +8000
Michigan State +10000
Texas Tech +10000
Clemson +10000
New Mexico +12000
Mississippi State +12000
Texas +12000
Washington State +12000
TCU +12000
South Carolina +12000
Northwestern +14000
Nevada +14000
Nebraska +14000
Utah State +15000
North Carolina State +16000
Texas A&M +16000
Florida Atlantic +16000
Dayton +16000
Colorado State +18000
Drake +18000
Oregon +18000
Virginia +20000
Colorado +20000
James Madison +25000
Boise State +25000
McNeese +30000
Grand Canyon +30000
Vermont +40000
Samford +50000
Duquesne +50000
Oakland +50000
Charleston +50000
Yale +50000
Akron +60000
UAB +60000
Morehead State +80000
Long Beach State +80000
Howard +100000
Saint Peters +100000
Montana State +100000
Grambling +100000
Colgate +100000
Wagner +100000
Stetson +100000
Longwood +100000

Whichever two teams were playing, the one with the lowest score on that list would advance. And so on. So, I would have UConn playing Houston for the Championship with UConn winning it all.

How funny would it be if Marquette or Creighton made it to the Championship game!

The NCAA wouldn't know whether to shit or wind their watches!

according to the odds makers Kentucky (2200) is right there with both Marquette (2500) and Creighton (2500). They aren't impossible long shots.

I know. But Kentucky is a perennial contender.
Marquette and Creighton are after-thought schools.

that's a good point. and one that the odds makers probably have to consider. for some teams the tournament is a bit easier because they feel they deserve to be there. for other teams its probably more difficult because they don't have the tournament experience or expectations. so, Marquette and Creighton are both probably a bit better than where they are predicted because of that. IF they can over come the hype.

I'm hoping SDSU makes another run to at least the Sweet 16 but otherwise I will be rooting for the rest of the MWC.

I'll probably fill out a bracket tomorrow at 3:30 in the morning when I get up to watch the Padres game. I like to pick with no research or deep thinking.

I ended up with Marquette winning it over Illinois

Kansas
Arizona round out my Final Four.

But I'm about to do another bracket with SDSU winning it for fun.

Posting a "Perfect Bracket" is really hard to wrap your head around. A perfect bracket is like this:

If I chose one second in time. And that second fell within the last 292 billion years. And then asked you to guess which second I chose, that's the same as picking a perfect bracket.

Right now, one day after the tournament started there are only 0.00038% of the brackets remaining in tact. And we still have day 2 to go. Half the teams haven't even played yet.
