Have you noticed the Fascists have been really quiet around here lately?

Wow the federalist is unhappy, maybe bring it before the Supreme Court and they can send them backAntknot wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:18 am The Biden Administration’s Prisoner Swap With Russia Was Ridiculously Lopsided
It’s good news that three Americans have been released, but to achieve that the U.S. had to release actual Russian assassins and spies.

The people that you think are "fascists" believe in free speech from all parties (even those we disagree with), personal gun ownership, less government regulation and intrusion in daily lives, free markets and capitalism with minimal governmental intervention and maintain a general distrust of a ubiquitous governmental presence. In other words, the opposite of a fascist.
Take a hard look at the policies and goals of your boy and his party and then think about "fascism".
I dont "support" any party as I think all the parties suck.Who wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:28 amWhat party do you support again?CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 1:32 amYou mean like the entire board has been?

I generally vote R because they are closest to my beliefs but are far from realizing most of their promises.
You support the party that hates free speech and silences those it disagrees with, wants to eliminate the 2nd amendment, wants more government control over markets and business in general and larger governmental presence in all aspects of our lives.
The R party is far from perfect but your misunderstanding and ignorance of the policies and actions of the Democrat party while simultaneously calling R's "fascist" is comical.
Cool. Now think about the actions your party faithful take and the policies and agenda your Democrat party tries to implement in relation to "fascism".Who wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 5:47 amI just want to preserve thisCHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 3:07 amI dont "support" any party as I think all the parties suck.Who wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 2:28 amWhat party do you support again?CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 1:32 amYou mean like the entire board has been?

Classic literature is inappropriate? And you’re ok with banning books? Thats weird because you dont mention how for years the Federal government under the Biden administration colluded with Facebook, Twitter and other social media companies to limit, censor or outright ban people and opinions they didnt agree with. Its still happening today.
Instead you want to focus on some folks wanting to keep books that are inappropriate for young kids out of elementary schools. The books are still available elsewhere and are not illegal in any way. Why do you want young children to have access to inappropriate material in a school setting?

How come you have no comment for your boys administration conspiring on a national scale with social media companies to limit, censor or outright ban people and opinions they dont agree with?
Certainly literature should be age appropriate. Not all books are appropriate for all ages.
If youre asking if I, like most rational Americans, think that sexually explicit and graphic sexual material should NOT be easily available to elementary kids in their school library, then "Yes, of course." The question is why do you think it should be? Again, its all about being age appropriate.
Clearly youre going after DeSantis here while dodging the Biden administrations assault on free speech. I'm going to now address your DeSantis issue. You can then follow up with addressing the Biden administrations censorship. Your mistake is that much of the book "ban" controversy is at the hands of regular people. In other words normal people that are fighting to "ban" certain things. Thats much different than a governmental entity like your Biden administration working with social media to silence opinions it doesnt like. Governor DeSantis has actually tried to limit these activist folks from abusing the objection process. As a Florida resident you should know this but when you only get your information from left wing sources that are only interested in pushing the "OMG THEY WANT TO BAN WINNIE THE POOH!!!!!1" bullshit while leaving out the overwhelming majority of books that are targeted to be removed from schools (but still available elsewhere) are sexual in nature or inappropriate for school kids. Again, why do you think sexually explicit material is ok in elementary schools?Who wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 1:41 amSo let’s go back to my original question, name one democratic governor that is banning books.CHEEZY17 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 1:19 amDodge noted.Who wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 9:55 pmClassic literature is inappropriate?
