that is really an amazing feat on so many levels. Not only that they accomplished that task in 5 years, but the level of resotration that they were able to achieve. It almost looks fake or AI generated now. The colors are so vibrant. Almost too vibrant. Some of the paintings almost look fake they are so well restored.

They used it as a living history project. Using old methods to harvest and shape the timbers, blacksmith made tools.

Scientists and historians study remains found in caskets under Notre-Dame de Paris' stone floor following the 2019 fire.
