how about bacon in microwave?

I do my microwave bacon on a paper plate with a mess of paper towels, that amount varies according to how "heavy" they are, but I try to fit a pound of thick sliced onto the paper towel lined paperplate, I then place that on a cardboard circle that fits my microwave tray, it really absorbs grease. For that pound I go about 12 minutes 50% power and start to check. Depending on what I want to do with it I may pull some off, may let it keep going. But I figure bacon cooking techniques, maybe that won't stir up trouble.

I love pancakes but since I was as young as I remember, I'll say first grade in school so I was 6 years old. Pancakes have always upset my stomach. I remember in first grade my mom made me pancakes for breakfast but when I got to school i had a bad "tummyache" ; my pants were somewhat tight so I undid the button. Then my teacher saw me do that and it started a shitstorm. I told them my stomach hurt from pancakes but looking back they thought it was sexual, but that was about 1970 and I was like 6 years old. Pancakes have always upset my stomach , i tried taking enzyme pills and using almond flour ; pancakes just upset my stomach. I made really good sourdough blueberry pancokes a few years ago, froze them, and they were great, but they basicly tore my internal organs to shreds. So any input on that condition would be appreciated. As always, please tell me how many paragraphs even though, try as I might, paragraphs will not show up in my posts, no matter how hard I try.

Trying to start a new paragraph, the roof blew off the winery the other night where Ted Nugent is going to play, he's playing the little outside "gazebo" type structure, but the mexican racist and I were joking beforehand "Nugent's going to blow the roof off that thing" . Well, the roof blew off. Also my 100 foot antenna tower also broke off about 70 or 80 feet up, so that's the end of my WROK 102.5 radio station.

So all you fucks have a field day, and whoever stated the definition of "jaybird" , I wasn't "jaybird" I was "J-Bird" that's the way my mom spelled it and I'm trusting her judgement. I think it was just because my name starts with "J" as in jsdspif.

On a rack so it’s not floating in the grease.

i'm the guy that uses the window in the bacon package to look for the ones with the most fat on them. Fortunately they are usually in the front of the display because everyone has already picked over them.

We have a hard plastic bacon drip tray for the microwave, we load a pound on it with a single paper towel on it to avoid splatter. After about 12 minutes we have long strips of well-cooked bacon and enough grease in the tray to cook our eggs and make a decent bit of bacon mayo. Not a drop is wasted!

Back in the old days when I worked at a country club, their way of cooking large amounts of bacon was in the oven. The cooks would pull out the large baking sheets and lay down standard sliced white bread down all over the sheet, then a rack on top to load the bacon. In the huge commercial ovens for about fifteen minutes, and the bread slices soaked up the excess grease. The bacon was perfect! and it left all those slices of greasy white bread. Those of us in the know would grab a couple of slices, and if we really weren't too concerned for the future condition of our coronary vascular systems we'd throw the slices on the griddle to brown them, then make quasi BLTs with whatever the salad station would let us steal. Some arugula or watercress, sliced regular or cherry tomatoes, and a handful of turkey or ham cubes. <slobber...>

I knew a girl whose family had this weird thing with how they buttered ears of corn. They would take a large slice of butter and then use a slice of sandwich bread to wrap it around and hold it against the ear of corn. Then they would use the bread to wipe the butter all over the ear as it melted.

she said the best part was eating that bread afterward.

Then after dinner, when her parents were taking naps in the front room, she'd take you out into the garage and do the same thing with your willie...
