That's cool. I guess that's all I can really do is trust that she can pick a good one. I've got a buddy that positively hates his son-in-law. I can only imagine how difficult that would make family functions.

That's cool. I guess that's all I can really do is trust that she can pick a good one. I've got a buddy that positively hates his son-in-law. I can only imagine how difficult that would make family functions.

On the flip side, my son has not had a good record of picking girlfriends. The one he has been dating for the last two years isn't as bad, but he always seems to date "projects" rather than someone who already has their shit together.

I always showed my daughter's prospective BF's my truck where I always keep a shovel, roll of plastic sheeting and duct tape. Tends to weed out the rejects.
