So, where do you shop?

I'm in the Maryland area. I have become a fan of Aldi & Lidl. Definitely cheaper than the big names. The clones may not taste exactly the same but they are good enough for me and sometimes better. I have given up on Wegmans. They just push their own brands and the organic crap and its basically the same thing but more expensive

I love Aldi but only for certain things: canned veggies, tortillas, bread, buns, milk, eggs, cheese, butter, some frozen things (their frozen pizza brand sucks ass), ice cream. Not a fan of their fresh produce.

Around here we have a Walmart, dollar fresh, (owned by HyVee but just a basic grocery store) and one independent grocery store.
We also have a local butcher who sources their meat from local producers. I go there about twice a year to fill my freezer.

We don't have those here but I hear good things about them, especially the sandwiches. My sister is in Alabama and really likes them.
You might get some more Aldi's. I think Winn-Dixie closed number of stores and Aldi is moving into them.

Yeah, I haven't liked their Mama Cozzi pizza much. I tried a take and bake from them a couple months and broke a fucking tooth on the crust. Crust wasn't much more that a big tortilla where the edges turned into concrete.
One thing I do really like is both stores have clones of the Girls Scout Samoa cookies. So damn good..

We have Safeway's & Whole Foods here but I don't go to them much.
Another store I go to now and then is Shoppers. They used to be a lot bigger, but have closed a lot of stores. They wanted to focus more on wholesaling. They seem to have slowed down on that though. There are still a couple around that happened closed which kind of surprises me.

I'll hit up Pick n Sav for little things and the discount meat because when the hell did beef hit 24/lb? And walmart for everything else. If i was closer I'd go to Woodman's. Better quality and better pricing.
And the booze department is huge.
