Fucking 8 inches of rain in the past couple days, tornados, flooding. Trying to hold together an uncompacted dirt berm for storm water berm made from the wrong kind of dirt that has been saturated since the snow melted and vehicles get stuck trying to fix it. Fuck this job.

I realize I post/comment all sorts of shit , but there's flooding not in my immediate vicinity but maybe 10 , 20, 30 miles etc, and it really does break my heart. Feb 13th I went to emergency room I woke up and couldn't move my arm at my elbow and my hand was twice the size as the other and it was purple, called the doctor office and because I hadn't been there in 6 years they wouldn't see me, they said get to emergency you're having a stroke. So I went and small town , no people waiting got right in, did ex rays, did an ultrasound ,the young chick pregnant doctor felt my elbow and said "that's infected" gave me a bactrim pill and a prescription for 14 more, twice a day and sent me on my way. So you folks guess , what did the 1 hour visit cost? I had medicaid but they said medicaid didn't cover it, so I call medicaid , it was cancelled in october so I owe the bill. Then about 4 or 5 days later , tornado about 40 miles from here, 4 people killed multiple homes destroyed, none insured because people can't afford homeowners ins. (mine went up 50% this year, was 670 now 1079) after that I didn't feel so bad , now a few nights ago 20 miles north tornadoes, 3 nights ago rain flooding, all that and homes destroyed and I think "I'm pretty lucky" but I hate feeling lucky because of other's misfortunes. I have been drinking heavily at this point, but I have tried to communicate coherently. But I am very sorry for your flooding. It really does break my heart.

Let's say your total bill as $15,000 for that. I am just guessing. If it is, you can easily settle it all by yourself for probably $5,000 or so. I know that even that sounds ridiculous, but I am just telling you that optiion is there. They would much rather collect something than nothing. If you tell them that its going to be cash and you have no insurance, they will work with you.

it was 3500 for the hospital, got the bill a few days later. Then a few days later got a bill for 1800. The 3500 is basicly walking into the hospital, the 1800 is doctor that worked on me. Hospital gave me 20% disount for paying out of pocket. I called on the other bill and it wasn't in their system but I got a bill from them? They said call back when you get another bill. so i got 3 year payment plan from the 3500 bill , interest free, they said if you miss a payment it goes to collection agency, I did that years ago with a bill from hughes sattelite (if you remember back that long ago) and when it went to collections my 2 credit cards froze my account, so I don't want to do that. many venues are now going cashless around here and I pay many bills with credit card, pay the bill at end of month for the cash back, or just because they don't take cash, at the doctor office (where I now made an appointment so i can see the doctor if something like this occurs again) and they only take medicaid, medicare or credit card, no other payment is accepted. I really feel the whole health care field is a scam. My mom was in assisted living from 2007 to 2011 and they prescribe her stuff like vitamin d pills which cost like $2 for 100 pills, they charged her like $200 for a 30 day supply which was 30 pills. all the med's were like that just astronomical compared to what you pay over the counter, the actual stuff requiring prescription, it was like 500% markup, but of course medicare paid all that as she was in her 80's at the time. It's a scam, and I bet you check out the bigwigs at the "top of the foodchain" they're probably pulling 10 million or so (or more) per year and stock and bonuses, it's total bullshit. Let me run the shit and I can almost guarantee I'd straighten shit out fast, but many people would probably be very unhappy.
