I originally thought...wrongly I must add...that they were targeting Christian's. Thankfully I've learn it was pagan bunny worshipers that were the target. That means the perpetrators could be anyone

Fresh from letting us know about her Jew-hatred, her 9/11 flippancy, her support leniency for terrorists and her love for 9/11's unindicted co-conspirators, her willingness to stickup for the brutal Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela, and other outrages, Rep. Ilhan Omar also would have us know about the little cold spot she holds for U.S. troops, the ones from the 1992 Black Hawk Down incident, the very U.S. Marines who tried to deliver aid to her starving clan in Somalia.

Inorite? It's just totally random that all those people happened to be the same religion and gathered in their place of worship on their most holy day and then got bombed by people who just, coincidentally obviously, profess to hate those exact people.

There has been a notable penetration of Wahhabi ideology and money into Sri Lanka in the past decade, but the impact has—until Sunday—been cultural and social. Many new mosques have sprung up, particularly in eastern Sri Lanka, and many Muslim women now wear the niqab, a garment that has never been a part of Sri Lankan Muslim culture. There has also been tension detected within the Muslim community, between old-style Sri Lankan Muslims who follow a syncretic version of Islam and well-funded Wahhabi advocates who insist on a more fundamentalist faith.
Gee. I wonder what country can possibly be behind the funding and proselytizing of the beautiful Wahhabi sect of Islam? I will give you a hint, it ain't Iran.

I've always thought that being on good terms with the Iranians would make more sense than our being buddies with the Saudis.
Too bad our past CIA involvement in their country makes that difficult now.

I just don't understand the distinction between the two now. Especially since the Sunni extremists
(Mainly Wahhabis) seem to kill more westerners (and other muslims) than their Shiite counterparts. Why in the world we unilaterally side with them is beyond logic.

Religion is a poison
And yet, it is also the root of civilization: codified morality, without which you would not exist.

THE root or a root? I would say Agriculture would have a say as well.

Religion served as law, which is what allowed societies to exist and grow.

That wasn't law, that was tyranny by the church.

Can't steal, can't cheat, can't fuck your neighbor's wife, etc. etc.
You hate your father, the church.

Can you think of one logical reason to say "Easter Worshippers" instead of Christians? What is the purpose of obfuscating the name of the intended targets?

Because they were at Easter mass maybe?

Is this religiously objectionable?
The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

As I read it, it makes even more sense, as it indicates that they were in a church service at the time, whereas saying Christians doesn't really convey that point.

If you say something, they will attack it. If you say nothing, they will create something to attack. If you say something they can't attack, they will also create something else to attack. The only common denominator is that they will attack you.

It is pretty weird they use that terminology. Nobody is worshipping easter….lol Neither one of them is in office, I wonder who they are afraid of offending.
