McGuire was where they took off from. I'd suspect they would return to Florida when they finish

Thunderbirds have been at the Blue Angels' base for at least a couple of months training with them, apparently.
P.S. The Blue Angels are stationed at NAF El Centro right now, for some reason

With all the airshows cancelled or postponed I'm not shocked

The team is stationed at Forrest Sherman Field, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, during the air show season. The squadron spends January through March training at Naval Air Facility El Centro, California.FSchmertz wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:49 pmAs posted above (you're too quick!CaptQuint wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:42 pmWith all the airshows cancelled or postponed I'm not shocked)

Maybe they are staying put with no airshow season

I was confused because the Thunderbirds drop in annually to joint train at El Centro. Right now they're both based at Pensacola.CaptQuint wrote: ↑Tue Apr 28, 2020 6:54 pmThe team is stationed at Forrest Sherman Field, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, during the air show season. The Ford-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) transit the Atlantic Ocean June 4, 2020, marking the first time a Ford-class and a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier operated together underway. Ford is underway conducting integrated air wing operations, and the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group remains at sea in the Atlantic as a certified carrier strike group force ready for tasking in order to protect the crew from the risks posed by COVID-19, following their successful deployment to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation. Patrick Tadina, Vietnam War's longest continuously serving Ranger, dies at 77
His small stature and dark complexion helped him pass for a Viet Cong soldier on patrols deep into the Central Highlands, during which he preferred to be in the point position. His citations describe him walking to within feet of enemies he knew to be lying in wait for him and leading a pursuing enemy patrol into an ambush set by his team.
