Nashville area. My youngest will be in Knoxville this fall to work on his Masters. May end up going for a PhD after that but he will have to figure how to pay for that.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 7:41 pmWhat part of TN do you live? Which begs the bigger question. What happened to UT and when will they be a relevant football program again? 110,000 seat stadium and maybe .500 seasons over the last 20 years. WTH happened? I would hate to be the person in charge of annual season seat renewals.Whackov wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 7:51 pmNashville area. My youngest will be in Knoxville this fall to work on his Masters. Season ticket problems are no issue with UTK. All games get sold out and it is an absolute zoo in Knoxville on game day. You see caravans of UT fans coming in all directions. The fans are fanatical and cult like. I have been to two games and didn’t care for it. I prefer my games on the big screen and in the AC.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 8:17 pmWhich begs the bigger question. As far as what happened to the program, I don’t think that UT has played well since they started using chalk instead of cocaine on the goal line. That and bad coaching.

Accounting. He has a job with a Big 4 accounting firm waiting but he is leaning towards teaching. He graduated Summa Cum Laude. He started his grad school last year but had to drop out because of a back injury.WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 8:26 pmIf you don't mind me asking, what's he mastering/ ph'ding in? That's a big bingo on the Master's/ ph'd program. If he does right, could be starting at Wall Street starting at multiple 6 figures. Sweet.Whackov wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 8:33 pmAccounting. We actually have maybe a dozen days below freezing during our winter months. Hardly brutal, but God help us if we get ice on the roads. Hundreds of wrecks within hours of a little ice.Stapes wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:28 pmWhen did you have a 30 degree day? 3 in the morning in january?WestTexasCrude wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:22 pmI love it. takes months to forget those 30 degrees Winter days. My brother lives in Dallas and he’s told me about the ice capades on the roads a few days per year.DiverTexas wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:38 pmWe actually have maybe a dozen days below freezing during our winter months.
