I was debating Blair Witch or Silent Hill but went with Silent hill.

Watching Blair Witch I related it to being out in the woods camping and hearing random things crashing around in the dark.

I was a 12 year old catholic school boy when I went to see that movie. We had a very small theater right in town and the ticket lady knew me and my friends and she told us we were too young but we begged her to let us in and she of course did 'cause what the hell else was there to do. We lived at the movies.
3/4 of the way through that movie I wanted to leave I was so freaked out but I knew I would be called a pussy. Every time they approached her bedroom door I had to put my hands over my eyes. As far as I was concerned she was actually possessed by the devil and I was next. I had never seen special effects like that. I do not lie when I say I did not sleep without a light on for almost a year.
