We'll see. I will say, if you haven't seen him play yet, Fernando Tatis Jr. is the real deal.
Perhaps that top rated farm system is finaly starting to pay dividens?

MLB is now proposing things like hall monitors in team hotels to keep the players in their room. That ranks behind the Marlins’ corona-bus driver in the race for the worst job in baseball, but still doesn’t sound like much fun. Regardless, it should have been protocol from day one.

The fans have to pay for those.

If people are paying, there is no hope left for the country.
i think the money goes to charity. the spots right behind home plate must be MUCH more expensive. there were a lot of vacant seats behind the catcher. the rest of the seats around the infield seemed pretty full of pictures.

Braves pitching ace Mike Soroka done for season after right Achilles tear. This after they DFAd Mike Foltynewics (Folty) last week. So their first-place standing won't last long.

One of the worries they had with restarting was the limited time to prepare again in "Summer Camp."

With all the injuries, it seems they were right to worry.

His D is great and hopefully he can stay at short for a while but I saw this this AM about his offense. Pretty crazy through first 100 games.

Fernando Tatis Jr. — .320/.385/.625, 30 HR, 70 RBI, 20 SB

Ken Griffey Jr. — .283/.340/.452, 15 HR, 52 RBI, 14 SB

Alex Rodriguez — .283/.315/.488, 14 HR, 58 RBI, 9 SB

Albert Pujols — .318/.392/.588, 24 HR, 74 RBI, 0 SB

Mike Trout — .302/.360/.497, 15 HR, 52 RBI, 27 SB

He needs to work on his plate discipline. He doesn't walk much and his strikeout rate is pretty high. But the kid is going to be a monster.

Funny side note: I drafted Tatis 7th overall in one of my fantasy leagues and the guys in the chat box were laughing at me. They're not laughing any more.
So far I've had 4 trade requests for him.

On a side note, I absolutely hate MadBum but yesterday was hard to watch and not feel sorry for the guy. Unless he is injured, his fast ball has deteriorated to batting practice speed. Giants obviously knew.

Vlad's defense sucks and the Jays know it. They grabbed Travis Shaw and put him at 3rd. Vlad can spend time at 1st and DH until he gets his defense working.

The Diamondbacks have placed lefty Madison Bumgarner on the injured list, GM Mike Hazen told reporters including Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic (via Twitter). He’s said to be dealing with a mid-back strain.

The hope at this point is that Bumgarner won’t be sidelined for an extended stretch. But even a few missed outings could put a rather significant dent in his overall contribution in a shortened 2020 season.

They lost Betts, they have no pitching. I also did some searching, and it looks like what pitching they had got COVID'd

I think it's obvious they're in rebuild mode now. Gonna be lean for awhile.
Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts sure likes hitting homers in bunches. He went bonkers Thursday night against the San Diego Padres (Gametracker). He was hit by a pitch in his first plate appearances. After that ...

...

First off, congrats to those who have Betts rostered in fantasy baseball. Secondly, this is Betts' sixth three-homer game in his career. That is tied for the most in baseball history with Sammy Sosa and Johnny Mize (full list here on baseball-reference.com). Bear in mind, Betts is only 27 years old, so while it's awfully difficult to homer three times in a game, it seems a sure thing that he'll eventually be the record-holder alone here.
https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/dodg ... mer-games/

P.S. OK, that was unnecessarily cruel. So sorry!
