I'm sure you are right however I have watched some NatGeo's were the crocs are waiting for the wildebeest to cross and they make them things look like snacks so they're pretty damn big.

After some googling, that critter was estimated to be 16 ft long. Which is about average for a Nile crocodile, though there have been specimens that have measured as large as 20 ft.

That pic is associated with a hoax claiming it was 22 ft long.
